Mohamed came to Toronto in 1994, graduated from Western-Tech High School in 1999, and enrolled at Seneca College in 2000 to study computer networking. Mohamed is currently a Journeyman Insulator within Union Local 110. A major accomplishment in Mohamed's life was when he fundraised for the construction of the only hospital in the city he was born in 2017 that serves 30,000 people. Mohamed founded Garacad Development Society in 2013.
